Change the layout of a section (columns, spacing, alignment)

Adjust the structure of a section for a more professional look

Key features • Easy modification via the Designer • Column, spacing, and alignment management • Immediate improvement in readability • Ideal for optimizing room, service, or restaurant pages

Changing the layout of a section is essential to making your hotel website clearer, more attractive, and better structured. Whether you want to organize your content into columns, adjust spacing, or refine alignment, these changes can be made quickly from the Designer.

Modify the column structure

Select the section you want to adjust, then drag a Columns block into your layout or transform the existing container into a multi-column structure. Webflow offers several configurations: two columns to display an image and text, three to showcase services, or four to highlight benefits.

You can then freely place your elements there: titles, paragraphs, icons, buttons, images or maps.

Adjust the spacing (margins and padding)

In the right-hand panel, use Margin and Padding to create a clean and easy-to-read section. Hotel pages often gain elegance with generous spacing.

💡 Tip: Use consistent values (e.g., multipliers of 8 or 10) to maintain a harmonious visual rhythm throughout the site.

Change the alignment of the elements

Still in the Styles panel, adjust the horizontal or vertical alignment according to your layout. Common options include: • Center alignment for main headings • Left alignment for descriptive sections • Bottom or top alignment to balance a column layout

Also use Flexbox or Grid settings if your section has them, to distribute your elements precisely.

Optimize the mobile version

Switch to tablet mode and then mobile to fine-tune the spacing and layout. The columns automatically transform into vertical blocks, but you can adjust the alignment and padding to maintain a smooth experience.

Modifying the layout of a section is a key step in improving the readability and aesthetics of your hotel website. A harmonious structure, controlled spacing, and precise alignment enhance the impact of your content and showcase your establishment.
